Lavender Hill Farm seeking
part-time seasonal farm help
Perfect for high school students after school, weekends and summer, college students on summer break and anyone who loves gardening and visitor engagement.
Farming: weed, harvest, bundle, hang to dry, shuck for sachets. Gardening experience a big plus; lavender experience not necessary. Must love plants, physical work and being outdoors. Opportunity to learn wreathmaking and oil distilling.
Visitor Experience: welcome visitors, demonstrate lavender cutting, answer questions, assist in the farm store, make lavender wreaths. Must have warmth, strong customer service skills and interest in lavender.
Farmers Market: Proctor and Vashon Farmers Markets. Support lead team member. Must have sales and customer service experience, familiarity with Square payments, good driving record and comfort driving a minivan, ability to set up tent and tables. Hours: Saturdays 6:30 am-4pm Proctor, 8:30 am-4 pm Vashon
The season is June 20- July 28 Thursday – Sunday 11 – 5. Farm work available now.
Pay is based on experience and level of responsibility $16.50 - $25 per hour
